About The Position

As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will provide hands-on support to residents and foster meaningful connections. You will assist with daily activities, help maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and support residents in living each day with dignity, joy, and companionship. The role is hourly and non-exempt, is part of the Nursing department, and has no travel or supervisory responsibilities. The schedule is on-call, with a minimum of three shifts per month.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role; experience is preferred but not required.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification; preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
• Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
