About The Position

The Resident Assistant, Memory Care provides support to residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and helps maintain residents’ personal environments. The role also transports residents around the community and responds to emergency calls, requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner. The Resident Assistant reviews and follows resident care plans and obtains vital signs.

This is a full-time position scheduled from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with work every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environments.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond promptly, appropriately, and safely to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
