About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides compassionate, responsive care to residents in an Assisted Living neighborhood. The role focuses on supporting residents physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally; protecting them from harm; and empowering them to live the best possible life. Employees are expected to practice the LCS Hospitality Promises in interactions with residents, coworkers, and guests, including greeting people warmly, treating everyone with respect, anticipating needs, listening and responding promptly, being accountable, valuing differences, maintaining professionalism, and attending to details. This is a part-time position in Clinton Township, Michigan, with an afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The starting pay rate is $17.50 per hour and may vary with experience. The community states its goal is a low staff-to-resident ratio of one CNA for every eight residents.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Enthusiasm, compassion, and passion for hospitality and senior engagement.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience working as a CNA or HHA.
One year of experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or a skilled setting.
