About The Position

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is seeking a compassionate Resident Ambassador for its 171-bed skilled nursing facility in Easton, Massachusetts. The role builds close relationships with residents by providing customer service, companionship, and support. The Resident Ambassador welcomes new residents, assists with appropriate non-clinical needs, listens to concerns, and helps communicate and follow up on them. The position also serves as a liaison among residents, staff, and the leadership team to support a positive, respectful, inclusive, and welcoming experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a companion or in a similar role is required.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, compassionate companionship and support to residents.
• Welcome and assist new residents as they adjust to the facility.
• Help residents with appropriate non-clinical needs, including meal trays and call lights.
• Listen to resident concerns and communicate needs or grievances to the appropriate department.
• Assist with problem-solving and follow up on concerns to help ensure timely resolution.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive resident experience.
• Act as a liaison between residents, staff, and the leadership team.
• Provide discussions, encouragement, reassurance, and direction as needed.
