About The Position

The Ambassador serves 15 hours or less each week in a defined area, engaging, equipping, and empowering coaches and athletes to fulfill the FCA Vision, pursue the FCA Mission, and live the FCA Values. Within FCA Sports Environments, the Ambassador implements a consistent approach to discipleship—making disciples who make disciples. The position is accountable for ensuring that FCA ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures. The role includes ministerial leadership, ministry advancement, volunteer recruitment and development, and potentially donor engagement and international service. FCA expects the Ambassador to carry out the role with a heart surrendered to serving God as worship.

Responsibilities

Agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement.
Follow a spiritual rhythm, including daily prayer and Bible study, to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
Lead and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and personal example.
Connect with and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
Conduct oneself at all times in a manner affirming biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs.
Engage, equip, and empower coaches, athletes, and volunteers through 1-on-1s, Huddles, and events.
Work with the supervisor to train and equip volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to become disciples who make disciples.
Work with the supervisor to recruit, train, and develop a diverse group of volunteers in assigned Sports Environments.
If requested by the supervisor and provided appropriate training, engage in support raising by connecting, communicating, and caring for donors.
Work with the supervisor to serve the aligned International Region through prayer, giving, and going.
Ensure FCA ministry is conducted according to biblical standards and FCA policies and procedures.
