About The Position

Butterfly Assisted Living is hiring a full-time caregiver to care for residents in an assisted living environment. The role supports residents’ quality of life while treating them with dignity and respect. Previous direct care experience is desired, but training is available for the right candidate. A high school education or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask.
• Previous direct care experience is desired, but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Must be able to walk and stand for more than 70% of the shift.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, and stoop.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Previous direct care experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Maintain resident documentation as needed.
• Obtain residents’ vital signs as directed.
• Distribute resident medications for self-administration.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas as scheduled.
• Provide laundry services to residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
