About The Position
The Resident Aide provides services to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans and facility policies and procedures, under the direction of supervisor(s). The role involves compassionate routine daily nursing care and assistance with residents’ personal care and meals. The position is located in Jacksonville, Illinois, and is listed for the evening shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. StoneBridge Senior Living describes its communities as close, welcoming groups where employees support one another and are encouraged to develop skills for careers in senior care. Requirements
- Must have at least a 10th-grade education; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication competencies.
- Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
- Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
- Attend scheduled training and educational classes and participate in them to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath, and other care functions as necessary.
- Prepare residents for meals and serve food.
- Record residents’ food and fluid intake.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
