About The Position

The Resident Aide provides services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies and procedures, under the direction of supervisor(s). The position is located in Jacksonville, Illinois, and is scheduled for the evening shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The role includes providing compassionate routine daily nursing care and assisting residents with personal care and meals.

Requirements

• Must possess at least a 10th-grade education; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication competencies.
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath, and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food.
• Record residents’ food and fluid intake.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
