About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring a Residency Program Coordinator I for SNVMC in Woodbridge, VA. This is a full-time, permanent position with standard working hours of 8 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday. The role is based at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA. The Residency Program Coordinator I is responsible for the general administrative oversight and management of a specific GME training program sponsored by either the Sentara GME office or an affiliated-academic partner’s GME office. The Program Coordinator will report to the Sentara Administrative Director of Graduate Medical Education and work alongside the Program Director to ensure program compliance with ACGME requirements and institutional policies. Key duties include managing day-to-day activities, organizing and supporting academic/educational conferences, overseeing the educational schedule, maintaining the clinical schedule, and coordinating with prospective applicants and alumni.

Requirements

  • Associate's Level Degree REQUIRED
  • 3 years of Administration experience REQUIRED
  • Relevant experience REQUIRED
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) preferred upon hire. If certification is not possessed upon hire, it must be obtained within 3 years of the hire date.
  • Administration or Coordinator experience in an academic, business, or healthcare setting preferred.
