About The Position

The Residency Program Coordinator at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is a full-time position responsible for the management of the residency program. This role partners with GME Leaders, Program Director(s), and faculty to maintain the educational quality of the training program, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and identify areas for programmatic improvements. The coordinator manages resident recruitment and selection, day-to-day operations, and onboarding activities. They also participate in long-range planning, provide financial analysis, and serve as a resource to residents to ensure an excellent learning experience. Requirements

3 years office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or education setting.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent educ/experience
Upon hire: Training Administrators of Graduate Education (TAGME) certification when available

Responsibilities

Management of the residency program.
Partnering with GME Leaders, Program Director(s) and faculty in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program.
Ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.
Continuously identifying areas for programmatic improvements.
Collaborating with other residency coordinators to ensure alignment between programs.
Managing the resident recruitment and selection process.
Managing the day-to-day operations of the residency program.
Managing the resident onboarding activities.
Participating in long-range planning and development of the program.
Providing financial analysis.
Serving as a resource to residents to ensure they receive an excellent learning experience.
