About The Position

Lifetime Assistance is seeking a Residence Manager to oversee daily operations of an assigned residence, ensuring high-quality services and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves supervising, training, and evaluating direct support staff, coordinating individualized service plans, and providing hands-on support to residents. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a starting wage of $27.70 – $30.91 per hour. The role requires flexibility to work at different residential locations based on agency needs and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree + 3 years experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree + 1 year experience, OR 5 years relevant experience (including at least 1 year in a supervisory role).
Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage teams and ensure quality care.
Valid NYS driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of an assigned residence, ensuring high-quality services and supports.
Supervise, train, and evaluate direct support staff; manage work schedules and provide backup coverage as needed.
Coordinate and ensure the implementation of individualized service plans.
Support residents with daily living needs and mentor staff in providing compassionate, person-centered care.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OPWDD competencies such as SCIP and PROMOTE.
Provide hands-on support as needed, including occasional lifting (up to 35 pounds) and physical activity.
Flexibility to work at different residential locations depending on agency needs.
