About The Position

Lifetime Assistance is seeking an Assistant Residence Manager (ARM) to support the daily operations of a residential home, ensuring compassionate, person-centered services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living skills, communication, recreation, and community inclusion. The ARM will also administer and monitor medications, coordinate medical appointments, supervise and support staff, and act as a shift leader. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of service plans, maintaining accurate documentation, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with families, advocates, clinicians, and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience, OR one year of college coursework in human services or a related field.
  • CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain).
  • SCIP-R Level I required, Level II may be required depending on assignment.
  • Must meet Lifetime Assistance Vehicle Operator requirements including a valid driver’s license and 2 years of driving experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with OPWDD regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support staff schedules, training, and responsibilities; act as shift leader and assume leadership in the Residence Manager’s absence.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized service plans, nursing plans, and behavioral support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with OPWDD and agency requirements.
  • Respond to behavioral or medical emergencies, implementing SCIP-R and crisis response strategies.
  • Collaborate with families, advocates, clinicians, and staff to ensure holistic, individualized support.
