This position is one of two open Administrative Operations and Support roles within the Residence Hall Administrative Services department.

Requirements

  • Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma.
  • Two years of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed.
  • Ability to conduct research and compile data into report form.
  • Ability to establish and maintain filing systems.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to analyze documents to determine compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of prior experience in the secretarial field.
  • Proficient level of competency and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, StarRez, WorkDay, and HogSync.
  • At least one year of experience working in a young adult environment.

Responsibilities

  • Working the front desk at a campus residence hall.
  • Maintaining student files.
  • Processing check-in/out paperwork.
  • Coordinating room consolidation.
  • Conducting key inventory.
  • Distributing student mail and packages.
  • Maintaining regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance.
  • Creating and maintaining collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
