Reservation Agent Responsible for providing quality service and hospitality when answering incoming guest calls, securing guest reservations, and utilizing sales technics to maximize guest satisfaction & Hotel revenues for all US Hotel properties and Regency managed properties. Answer incoming guest phone calls and take appropriate action for each call up to and including securing reservations in a timely and correct manner Securing necessary deposits for reservations Knowledgeable of all US Hotel properties and their amenities. Accurately determines guests needs by listening effectively and working with them Sells additional services by recognizing opportunities to up-sell; explaining features (i.e. golf, packages, amenities, etc.) Maintains StayNTouch database by entering information correctly Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attends mandatory training sessions to stay updated on product or company policy changes Must be willing to occasionally travel to US Hotel properties for training purposes. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: Assists group sales with reservations and/or name lists as assigned Answers overflow phone calls from front desk when not securing reservations
