About The Position

Hope Lake Lodge & Indoor Waterpark is seeking a detail-oriented Reservationist to join our hospitality team! You'll be the voice of the resort, creating unforgettable guest experiences from the very first call while ensuring smooth and professional reservation services. Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old and have WEEKEND availability.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Weekend availability
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle multiple reservation requests efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and booking systems preferred.
• Able to adjust to changing priorities and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to all guests, responding to inquiries, requests, and complaints with care and efficiency.
• Handle booking and cancellation requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring accurate data entry and guest confirmations.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to promote room upgrades and resort packages while optimizing occupancy levels.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, resort amenities, and promotions to provide guests with helpful information.
• Collaborate with other departments, ensuring guest needs are communicated and met seamlessly.
• Keep the front desk and office area organized and presentable to reflect our high standards.
