About The Position

Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale, FL is looking for a Reservationist/Receptionist to join their fast-paced, high-volume location. They are searching for candidates who are comfortable with a multiple incoming phone system, have a positive, cheerful attitude, and are able to work on an iPad. Knowledge of Open Table and Toast are helpful but not a must. This role reports to the Dining Room Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
Possess great communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle stressful situations and be able to prevent and/or handle emergencies.
A cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people and being able to work well under pressure.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must possess reliable transportation.
Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain consistent professional relations with all guests and customers.
Ensure adequate coverage of the reservation’s office at all times.
Maximize use of table inventory.
Ensure consistent reporting to senior management.
Ensure all guests receive a positive and professional impression of the restaurant.
Provide a clear communication process to all relevant parties.
Arrive at work for scheduled shifts and be punctual, always following company absence, lateness procedure if unable to do so.
Provide a speedy, efficient, and professional level of service at all times.
Treat company property with due care and attention.
Attend meetings/training sessions as required by the management team.
Adhere to and maintain cleaning checklists and carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Work as a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible to ensure that operations are always efficient and profitable as possible.
Be responsive to any guest’s request.
Inform managers of any complaints/comments / perceived issues.
Ensure all customers receive the best possible service and care.
Have a thorough knowledge of the food and dessert menu.
Communicate any issues or ideas to the management team.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
