About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a recent or upcoming grad for a Research Technician position to join our Dose Formulation team in Madison, WI! This is a chemistry-focused role where you will be working with pharmaceutical products in a lab, preparing vehicles, diets, solutions and capsules with test material according to study protocols and SOPs. As a Research Technician, you’ll learn and perform essential lab techniques to prepare test materials for preclinical studies. Your day-to-day will include preparing lab reagents, solutions, suspensions, and capsules per study protocols, recording data accurately in both digital and written formats, learning formulation verification, sample disposition, and safe handling procedures, collaborating with scientists and technicians to ensure study integrity, and maintaining a clean, safe, and GLP-compliant lab environment. You will also develop skills in study setup, data organization, and client communication.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology
A strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
A passion for science and a desire to contribute to life-changing research
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Ability to work one weekend per month
