Dose Formulation Research Technician - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Labcorp is seeking a Research Technician to join its Dose Formulation team in Madison, Wisconsin. The technician will learn and perform laboratory techniques to prepare test materials for preclinical studies, working with scientists and technicians to support study integrity. The role also involves maintaining a clean, safe, GLP-compliant laboratory and developing skills in study setup, data organization, and client communication. The schedule is third shift, 3:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., with flexibility to work overtime as needed and the ability to work one weekend per month. The pay rate is $23 per hour, including a 12% shift differential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or microbiology.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Passion for science and desire to contribute to research.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work one weekend per month.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions, suspensions, and capsules according to study protocols.
- Record data accurately in digital and written formats.
- Learn formulation verification, sample disposition, and safe-handling procedures.
- Collaborate with scientists and technicians to ensure study integrity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and GLP-compliant laboratory environment.
- Develop skills in study setup, data organization, and client communication.
