About The Position
The University of Pennsylvania, a world-renowned leader in education, research, and innovation, is seeking a Senior Research Investigator. This role involves leading, overseeing, and designing advanced experiments, assisting the principal investigator in developing a research program, and playing a crucial role in all aspects of research products, including development, implementation, and data analysis. The position also requires assessing proposed projects through feasibility studies, overseeing lab personnel workflow and productivity, providing training, and being responsible for data analysis, manuscript preparation, and presenting research findings.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Philosophy, and 5 to 7 years of postdoctoral experience required.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis and other aspects of quantitative and qualitative research as well as theoretical research
- Review, edit, format, and write manuscripts for publication and of grant proposals
- Assist with and often direct the design and implementation of original experiments
- Perform data collection and management
- Administer literature reviews
- Other research and administrative duties
