They have the opportunity to define and lead a high-impact research project, collaborate with and learn from team members across AI2, including scientists and engineers, author a scientific paper for publication in a high-profile conference or journal, implement and share open source software to improve access to their research, and contribute to the Semantic Scholar project through a new model or software system. All interns are paired with one or more mentors from the Semantic Scholar Research team. They encourage open collaboration on intern projects with other researchers, both at AI2 and at external institutions. They have no restrictions on publishing papers based on their internships. Their pay is competitive, and visa sponsorship is available.
