CUPE - Spring/Summer 2026 - Research Assistant
About The Position
This is a Research Assistant position for the Spring/Summer 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Education, under the supervision of John Ranellucci. The role involves conducting interviews, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing. The position is classified under CUPE 2626 and is for one (1) opening. The total work hours are 100, with an hourly rate of $31.89 for undergraduate students and $50.25 for graduate students (2024-2025 rates, subject to ratification of a new collective agreement). Requirements
- Must be a student eligible for a TA/RA position.
- Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
- All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
- The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
