Temple University's College of Liberal Arts Psychology Department is searching for a Research Assistant! This full-time Research Assistant will manage multiple aspects of the research process. The Research Assistant will collect, curate and maintain records of data, help analyze and disseminate the data related to the project. The Research Assistant will also be responsible for performing rodent surgical procedures and rodent behavioral assays. The Research Assistant will also be responsible for some administrative tasks, including ordering supplies for the lab, IACUC, IBC and EHRS protocol submission and revisions. The successful candidate will perform other duties as assigned. The Memory Epigenetics and Addiction Laboratory at Temple University, directed by Dr. Mathieu Wimmer, is seeking a Research Assistant and technician to contribute to cutting edge behavioral neuroscience research as part of an NIH-funded project. The overarching goal of the research program is to better understand cell-type specific mechanisms that confer addiction vulnerability and/or resilience using animal models of substance use and opioid dependence.
