About The Position

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor (Dr Najmeh Khalili-Mahani), the candidate will conduct data collection for the Montreal-Paris Neurobank Project, by performing a variety of specialized tasks according to the research and recruitment protocols of the project under the Open-science framework of C-BIG. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 3 on a scale of 0-4. This position is covered by the AMURE collective agreement. Requirements

• Knowledge of French and English
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Willing to work in the province of Quebec

Responsibilities

• Providing support to the recruitment team (calling participants and scheduling their visits)
• In charge of booking the scanner (booking time, coordinating overtime scans, cancellation, etc.)
• Assist trainees and lab members with preparing experimental materials including computerized tasks and stimulus sets, for example by downloading files or code from web sites.
• Accompanying participants during their scan visits to the MEG and MRI units.
• Administering cognitive tests and entering the data in our database.
• Ensuring complete data transition from the scanner to the database.
• Viewing the data and reporting gross artifacts.
• Acquiring MEG.
