About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a motivated individual with an interest in clinical and translational research to assist with clinical trial coordination and laboratory procedures within the Barry Baker Laboratory for Head and Neck Oncology and the Head and Neck Biorepository and Clinical Database. This individual will coordinate, under guidance, the approval processes and conduct of research protocols for multiple clinical studies and trials, such that the integrity and quality of the research is maintained and conducted in accordance with all policies. Additional responsibilities will include specimen processing, database entry, and data analysis. The position is ideal for individuals looking for experience during their gap year before medical school. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable in an environment that is continuously evolving, organized, focused on quality, accuracy and problem solving.
