About The Position

The Research and Data Analyst III leverages advanced expertise in cloud platforms, specialized applications, and SQL database systems to optimize the organization’s data infrastructure. By delivering targeted automation projects, this role significantly improves data accessibility and reporting efficiency for all end users. A primary focus involves identifying cross-application inefficiencies and utilizing data interchange expertise to implement robust connectors that streamline database and application integration. As a strategic member of the Business Analytics team, this position navigates complex data ecosystems to extract meaningful, actionable insights. By implementing sophisticated data solutions and streamlining reporting processes, the role directly enhances the quality of behavioral health care delivered to clients and families. Ultimately, this analyst bridges the gap between technical data management and the organization’s mission to provide superior clinical outcomes through data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Equivalent professional capacity demonstrated through a combination of relevant work experience, specialized education, or technical training.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, application development, or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record of extracting, transforming, and integrating data using Power Query, Power Automate, and Dataverse to deliver enterprise reporting solutions within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
  • Expert-level proficiency in DAX development, data modeling for large/complex datasets, and the implementation of advanced features such as Row-Level Security (RLS), incremental refresh, and dataflows.
  • Familiarity with (or the ability to rapidly adopt) authorized AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to accelerate analytics development—including drafting code and documentation—while ensuring data privacy and output validation.
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and identity management principles.
  • Advanced SQL Server skills, including hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Proficiency with cloud and server-based interfaces, including TypeScript, REST API, GraphQL, PowerShell, or similar languages.
  • Prior experience managing healthcare performance metrics, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, or clinical research data.
