About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of assessment programs and research projects. The Data Research-Assessment Analyst will support the district's assessment initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data. This role is crucial for informing instructional decisions and evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Statistics, Research Methods, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with data collection, management, and reporting.
Strong understanding of research methodologies and assessment principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a relevant field.
Experience in K-12 educational settings.
Familiarity with state and federal assessment mandates.
Experience with data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of district-wide assessment programs.
Collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to student achievement and educational programs.
Develop reports and presentations to communicate assessment results and research findings to various stakeholders, including administrators, teachers, and the public.
Support the evaluation of curriculum and instructional programs through data analysis.
Maintain databases and ensure the integrity and accuracy of assessment data.
Collaborate with other departments to support data-driven decision-making.
Stay current with best practices in educational assessment, research, and data analysis.
