About The Position

This 8-week experience focuses on learning how to design and build applications using human-centered design principles. Interns will start by understanding people—their goals, behaviors, and challenges—and use those insights to guide every design decision. The project involves designing a publications application for tracking scientific outputs such as conference papers, journal articles, and workshop publications. This application serves as a real-world case study through which students will apply user-centered design techniques from concept to prototype. The focus is on not just what gets built, but how and why it gets built. Interns will work in a small, cross-functional team.
