The student's research is focused on aerosol-cloud-precipitation interactions in marine warm low clouds. For this, they will use Large Eddy Simulation (LES) models and observations made at the DOE Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) sites. During the visit, the student will refine current model runs on LCRC Clusters, work with a mentor to use observations for validation, finalize analysis, and report results in a peer-reviewed journal article.
