This position is expected to contribute to the execution of Tier II level support work. This role will also provide technical and analytical leadership on projects. A critical focus will be on identifying process improvement opportunities, optimizing centralized work and measuring the delivery of those services in a consistent objective way. This position is expected to contribute to executing the future vision of the People Operations delivery model. This work is inclusive of Review/Approval for non-company leave requests (FMLA/Non-FMLA managed by UNUM), personal leaves & other leave types (military, jury duty, bereavement) and including placing team members on LOA as needed. This role will be responsible for initiating leave requests for seasonal & temporary layoff (with support from People Operations WFA Tier II for mass loads), confirming leave balances, managing absence as per leave policy, execution of regular reports to monitor team members due to return from LOA, enter LOA/STD data updates into the appropriate HR system, Processing of STD payments & interfacing with Third Party vendor to follow up on overdue LOAs. This role will also partner with HR and Nursing stakeholders to assist in Team members return to work or transitional work options.
