About The Position

National Asset Recovery Specialists is hiring an experienced Repossession Agent in Akron, Ohio. The agent performs vehicle recovery assignments and is expected to work safely, professionally, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role is intended for a skilled recovery professional with strong situational awareness, sound judgment, composure under pressure, and a proven record in vehicle repossession. Agents receive equipment and technology, real-time support, and routes and assignments tailored for experienced recovery agents, with limited micromanagement.

Compensation is described as $75,000–$95,000, with commissions of $75–$150 per vehicle and monthly bonus opportunities over $2,500. A $1,500 signing bonus is offered to applicants with at least one year of verifiable repossession experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional vehicle repossession experience.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with no more than two points on the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• At least 23 years of age.
• Pass an FBI background check.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong knowledge of skip tracing, asset recovery, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and composure under pressure.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and dependable.

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred but not required.

• Perform vehicle repossession and asset recovery assignments.
• Use skip tracing knowledge and recovery tools and technology to locate and recover vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle recoveries safely, professionally, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
