Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the formatting functionalities of the Microsoft Office suite of tools, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Creative communication skills.
  • Experience creating data visualizations.
  • Keen eye for document design.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a professional working environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with publishing software considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in administration is considered an asset.
  • Creative communications certificate or diploma is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Design, development, and refinement of client deliverable reports, documents, and presentations using the Microsoft Office suite of tools including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (75% of time).
  • Entering, reviewing, and maintaining client accounts and contact information in the Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform (25% of time).
  • Reviewing upcoming deadlines and work requirements with the team; coordinating the logistics and flow of work to specific team members (i.e., documents for review/signature).
  • Preparing and submitting expense reports.
  • Coordinating and scheduling internal and external meeting and appointment logistics and preparing supporting material.
  • Maintaining electronic filing systems.
  • Contributing to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members and leadership.
  • Maintain flexibility to work overtime, as necessary.
