About The Position

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Strong organizational skills and an aptitude to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Work independently and as an integral part of a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to prioritize tasks as directed to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Determine work scope and the service vendor to be utilized to repair all parts removed from SkyWest aircraft
  • Determine warranty eligibility on aircraft parts to give the best value to SkyWest
  • Evaluate repair quotes to confirm vendor repaired parts as required per SkyWest and FAA standards, and ensure cost, quality, and deadlines are met
  • Review and negotiate warranty claims and ensure all parameters are met for warranty reimbursements
  • Collect bids, and purchase high-dollar aircraft parts
  • Communicate effectively with SkyWest personnel, vendors, and part brokers
