About The Position
The Repair Design Engineer supports aerostructures non-conformance disposition, repair design, discrepant hardware evaluation, development of repair concepts, technical substantiation, and repair documentation. The role involves repair design for metallic and/or composite aerostructures and coordination with manufacturing, quality, stress, design, and certification teams. The position is located in Wichita, Kansas, and is full-time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in repair design using CATIA V5.
- Experience with GD&T for metallic and/or composite aerostructures.

- Fuselage, nacelle, or pylon product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Support aerostructures non-conformance disposition.
- Design repairs and develop repair concepts for discrepant hardware.
- Evaluate discrepant hardware.
- Provide technical substantiation and repair documentation.
- Perform engineering release and change control activities.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design, and Certification teams.
