This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries related to product and service orders, delivery, and pricing. The Customer Service Representative will research and confirm pricing and delivery, calculate pricing while maintaining margin guidelines, and ensure all required information and supporting documents are correctly completed. They will take and enter orders via phone, fax, email, and web-based systems, clarifying customer specifications as needed. The position also involves handling customer complaints, processing returns, and working with accounting to resolve issues. Pro-actively reviewing customer open order and backorder reports, setting up new customer accounts, and maintaining databases are also key responsibilities. The representative will maintain a close alliance with Sales Account Managers and collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met. This role may also assist others in the department as necessary.
