About The Position

Mustang Rental Services, a division of Mustang Cat, is hiring a Rental Territory Sales Representative to grow equipment rental sales across Southeast Texas. The role provides rental solutions for construction, industrial, and municipal customers using Caterpillar and allied equipment. It is an outside sales position focused on developing business, building customer relationships, recommending equipment for projects, and meeting territory sales goals.

Requirements

Experience in outside sales, territory sales, or equipment rental sales.
Strong customer relationship and sales skills.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand equipment applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, a technical field, or a similar area; equivalent experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish.
Experience with construction equipment or heavy equipment.
Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment.
Experience supporting construction, industrial, or municipal customers.

Responsibilities

Develop new business and expand equipment rental sales within the assigned Southeast Texas territory.
Prospect and build relationships with construction contractors, industrial facilities, and municipalities.
Visit job sites to recommend equipment solutions for customer projects.
Prepare rental quotes and proposals.
Maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service.
Promote rental equipment, including aerial lifts, generators, air compressors, light towers, construction equipment, and Caterpillar equipment.
Meet and exceed territory sales goals.
