About The Position

Total Tool, a NEFCO company, is an industry leader providing tools, equipment, rentals, repairs, and custom solutions to keep job sites running safely and efficiently. The company has more than 85 locations nationwide and is continuing to grow.

As a Rental Technician, you will maintain the rental fleet and support the rental process. The role includes organizing the tool rental department, operating and testing equipment, performing minor repairs, processing customer rentals, coordinating with coworkers, management, vendors, and sales staff, and helping maintain a safe work environment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 7 a.m.–4 p.m. or 8 a.m.–5 p.m. The salary range is $20–$23.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Motivation and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stand on a hard surface for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds daily.

• Previous construction industry experience or knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain tool rental departments.
• Operate and test equipment.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Complete the rental process for customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Prioritize daily department workflow.
• Communicate with coworkers and management to help ensure inventory accuracy.
• Partner with vendors regarding parts and repair questions.
• Work with sales staff to fulfill customer requirements.
• Stay informed about new and current products and services offered.
• Help maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards.
