About The Position

Tenney Mountain Resort is hiring a Rental Technician to help guests get properly equipped for a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable day on the slopes. This hands-on role combines customer service and technical work, including fitting boots, adjusting bindings, maintaining rental equipment, and supporting an efficient rental process. The technician helps deliver the Tenney guest experience with safety, efficiency, and a friendly approach.

Requirements

• Passion for skiing or snowboarding and enthusiasm for helping others enjoy the mountain.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform equipment fittings accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with guests of all ages and experience levels.
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and peak winter periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous rental experience; training is provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and help them select, fit, and adjust ski equipment for comfort and safety.
• Adjust bindings according to customer profiles and industry safety standards.
• Track, organize, and maintain accurate rental equipment and transaction inventory.
• Provide friendly guidance on equipment use, returns, and mountain readiness.
• Work with fellow technicians and other departments to keep the rental process smooth and efficient.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming rental area.
