About The Position

The Rental Technician inspects, maintains, and repairs rental equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards. This hands-on role works with construction equipment and helps customers stay productive by providing reliable, ready-to-work machines. The position is based with RDO Equipment Co.'s team in Fort Worth, Texas.

Requirements

• Experience operating, maintaining, or repairing equipment.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Valid work authorization and ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial rental inspections, equipment condition reports, and damage assessments to verify quality and safety.
• Perform basic maintenance, diagnose service issues, and repair rental equipment.
• Test rental, new, and sold equipment to verify operational capabilities and safety before it enters service.
• Communicate clearly, respectfully, and promptly with customers during the repair process.
• Record inspections, repairs, parts used, fluids consumed, and other service information accurately on work orders.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to complete work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work environment.
