About The Position

Pape’ Rents is seeking a Rental Shop Technician to work on material handling and construction equipment. The technician ensures repairs are completed accurately and promptly to maximize equipment uptime and support customers’ rental equipment needs. The role is based in a well-resourced shop alongside trained technicians. Pape’ provides training, resources, and support to help technicians develop their skills and careers.

Requirements

Knowledge of JLG, Genie, and other aerial work platform (AWP) equipment, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs, and diesel and gas engine repair.
Comfort working at heights.
Basic computer knowledge.
Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Must provide own tools.
Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 75 pounds.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Aerial equipment experience is preferred.
