About The Position

Mustang Rental Services is hiring Rental Equipment Technicians / Mechanics at all skill levels for shop service and field service positions in Spring, Texas. Technicians maintain and repair the company’s expanding fleet of rental construction equipment, including diesel-powered machines, aerial lifts, and man lifts. They inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to help ensure safe, reliable performance for customers. Technician levels and compensation rates are based on skill set, knowledge, and experience, with a stated path for career advancement.

Requirements

• Own the proper tools needed to perform repairs.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous mechanic experience or military service.
• Technical certificate or associate degree from an accredited program.
• Experience working on heavy and light construction equipment.
• Experience servicing aerial and man lift equipment.
• Technical knowledge of hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on rental construction equipment.
