About The Position

The rental mechanic position is responsible for keeping all of our equipment clean and correctly maintained. This is a full-time position, scheduled up to 45 hours per week. Must have open availablity to work days, evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED diploma or one to three years of related experience or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years knowledge of general machine maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must have open availablity to work days, evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Chauffeur’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.
• Cleans all rental equipment.
• Conducts repairs and maintenance on rental equipment; generates purchase orders for repairs or required maintenance.
• Purchases small tools and any supplies needed to repair the equipment.
• Inspects equipment on a regular basis to comply with company safety policies.
• Assists in updating DMV registration and current insurance.
• Checks out customers at the rental counter, including completing contracts, taking payment and instructing customer on how to use the item.
• Deliver and pick up rental items as needed.
• Set up and take down rental equipment if requested.
• Help load and unload equipment as needed.
• Help out in lumber yard and inside the store as needed.
