About The Position

Sternberg Automotive Group is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Rental Counter Sales & Support associate in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle rentals, providing exceptional service and support throughout the rental process.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education a plus.
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or automotive rental preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with rental software or point-of-sale systems.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with vehicle inspections if needed.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers at the rental counter, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
Process rental agreements and transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide detailed information about rental vehicles, pricing, and policies.
Assist customers with reservation changes, vehicle returns, and any rental inquiries.
Maintain the rental counter area, ensuring it is organized and presentable.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate vehicle availability and maintenance schedules.
Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Support the sales team with lead generation and follow-up as needed.
