About The Position

Acme Tools in Bismarck, ND is looking to hire a full-time Rental Associate. This role is for someone who thrives in a dynamic work environment, enjoys problem-solving, and provides excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who likes working outdoors but is also comfortable performing small repairs and maintenance in a shop setting. Requirements

A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Computer skills and the willingness to learn new software
Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email
The willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift

Responsibilities

Understanding customer needs and recommending the right tools and equipment.
Managing contracts accurately.
Loading, unloading, and organizing rental equipment in the yard.
Communicating professionally with customers over the phone, email, or in person.
Providing clear instructions on equipment safety and operation.
Inspecting tools and equipment for damage and recording usage details.
Handling computer tasks such as creating and closing service work orders.
Troubleshooting equipment issues for customers, both in person and over the phone.
Performing regular maintenance checks, fluid changes, filter replacements, and other maintenance tasks.
Contributing to inventory management with daily reports.
Scheduling ongoing equipment maintenance.
Prioritizing safety standards while completing assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
