About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Rental Coordinator for its rental facility in Richmond, Virginia. The role supports customers through the equipment rental process and helps grow and maintain customer relationships. EquipmentShare’s proprietary T3 technology provides up-to-date information about its machines and supports coordinators in matching customers with the right equipment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours worked.

The successful candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and interested in growing in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. EquipmentShare offers a workplace that values people from different backgrounds and perspectives. Employment is contingent on passing a background check; some roles also require a drug test depending on job responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong listening skills and a commitment to solving customer problems.
• Ability to build, nurture, and maintain customer relationships throughout the rental process.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing company and stay educated on EquipmentShare products and services.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound leads and guide customers through the EquipmentShare rental process.
• Build relationships with contractors and construction company principals to expand the customer base.
• Educate customers about how EquipmentShare can help them save money, increase revenue, and operate more efficiently.
• Maintain and nurture customer relationships to support customer satisfaction with EquipmentShare’s service and support.
• Keep customers informed about additional ways EquipmentShare can help improve their businesses.
• Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, and other communications.
• Develop sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve the customer experience.
