About The Position

Rental associates generate sales through world-class guest service, assist customers with rental equipment, and provide guests with gear and services for an outdoor experience. The role is a flexible team position that may support multiple departments and roles across the resort. This is a winter seasonal position for 2026/2027, with temporary-help hours available. The starting and expected pay is $20 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Maintain working knowledge of products and industry trends.
• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at a retail shop.
• Fit guests with equipment; training is provided.
• Explain how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, guest responsibility for equipment during the rental, rental length, and return options.
• Work with teammates to maintain safety standards.
• May perform other duties such as cashiering and retail sales.
• Support other departments and roles as needed, which may include Mountain Activities, Retail Rental operations, Food and Beverage Support, ticket sales or scanning, Lift Operations, and Base Area Operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
