About The Position

Rental associates generate sales through world-class guest service, assist customers with rental equipment, and provide guests with gear and services for an outdoor experience. The role is a winter-seasonal position for 2026/2027, with temporary-help hours available. The starting and expected pay is $20 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Housing is not available. Rental Associate team members may work across multiple departments and roles to support the resort’s one-resort approach, including Mountain Activities, Retail, Rental Operations, Food and Beverage Support, Ticket Sales or Scanning, Lift Operations, and Base Area Operations. Hiring is rolling, and applications will be accepted until December 15 or until positions are filled, whichever comes first.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Commitment to exceptional customer service.
Maintain working knowledge of products and industry trends.
Ability to stand and move for extended periods in an active, team-oriented environment.
Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent guest service at a retail shop.
Fit guests with rental equipment; training is provided.
Explain how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibilities for equipment during the rental, including rental length and return options.
Work with teammates to maintain safety standards.
May perform cashiering and retail sales duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
