Renewable Energy Construction Project Manager (36025)
About The Position
Responsible for assisting other PMs in the planning, organizing, supervising, quality control, security and safety procedures on the assigned job sites, as well as accurate communication, detailing the daily progress and bringing attention to potential problems. The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is a federally recognized Indian Tribe located in Palm Springs, California, with 32,000 acres of reservation lands that spread across Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, and into the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains. The Tribe currently owns and operates two 18-hole championship golf courses, 3 casinos located in Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, and downtown Palm Springs, two world class spas, and a fuel station.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years or more of direct hospitality or commercial construction and project management experience working for a developer, general contractor or project management firm.
- Bachelor degree or High School Diploma/GED with work experience in the field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Outlook.
- General knowledge and understanding of commercial construction practices, processes, design, finance, and project management.
- Able to communicate verbally, electronically and in writing day to day updates and issues to other members of the project team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Procore and/or other project management software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager and Construction team members in various tasks throughout the project’s lifecycle.
- Assist in managing the design and construction process, including coordination of schedule, bidding, construction administration and project closeout.
- Assist in managing scopes of work as assigned, i.e. estimating, scheduling, specific project management tasks, finance and contract administration.
- Assists in identifying problems or potential problems as they relate to the organization of the job.
- Quality control to include verifying all materials received on the project.
- Assist in project control (budget, schedule, trend logs, etc.).
- Assist in creation of daily logs.
