About The Position

At Pilgrim’s, safety is a condition, and the safety of team members comes first. The Rendering Maintenance Lead constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components; identifies parts or machines needing replacement parts; interprets equipment drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery; responds to mechanical issues identified by production; communicates with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and identify potential mechanical issues; and performs preventive maintenance. The role completes assigned tasks accurately and efficiently, considering time and resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• General mathematics ability to perform the job.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.
• Ability to work assigned days and shifts, including some weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school education.
