About The Position

At Pilgrim’s, safety is a condition, and the safety of team members comes first. The Rendering Maintenance Lead constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components; identifies parts or machines needing replacement parts; and uses shop mathematics to complete assignments. The role interprets equipment drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery, responds to production-area mechanical issues, and works with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and identify potential mechanical issues. The position also performs preventive maintenance and completes assigned tasks accurately and efficiently with regard to time and resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• General mathematics ability to perform the job.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.
• Ability to work assigned days and shifts, including some weekends.

• Technical school education.
