About The Position

The Rendering Maintenance Lead constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. The role identifies parts or machines that need new or replacement parts, interprets equipment drawings to adjust, maintain, and repair machinery, and responds to production-area requests when mechanical issues arise. The position also performs preventive maintenance and completes assigned tasks accurately and efficiently, with attention to time and resources. Team members communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and identify potential mechanical issues.

Safety is emphasized as a condition of work at Pilgrim’s, with team-member safety coming first. The position requires working assigned days and shifts, including some weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• General mathematics ability to perform the job.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures.
• Ability to work assigned days and shifts, including some weekends.

• Technical school preferred.
